Cherwell Software Named Industry Innovator by Info-Tech Research Group

downloadCherwell Software™ is pleased to announce that its flagship product, Cherwell Service Management® has been positioned as the best IT service management product on Info-Tech Research Group’s Vendor Landscape: Enterprise Service Desk 2013 report.

Cherwell Software was one of only two vendors to score “Exemplary” overall in both the product category, which analyzes features, usability, affordability, and architecture, and also in the vendor category, which analyzes viability, strategy, reach, and channel. Named as an “Innovator” both in 2012 and 2013, Cherwell Software was cited for advanced self-service manageability, seamless transition between SaaS and on-premises, and strong functionality at low cost. “Cherwell Service Management should make most organizations’ shortlist based on price alone. Backed up with a strong feature set, it makes a strong contender against most other vendors. Cherwell Service Management offers an excellent self-service portal with more functionality than most competitors,” wrote Barry Cousins, senior consulting analyst at Info-Tech Research Group.

“This report validates that Cherwell Service Management is the single best product on the market today,” commented Vance Brown, CEO of Cherwell Software. “We know that people are frustrated with their service desk tool, and we’re actually doing something about it. Our entire team is challenging the status quo in order to improve the way IT service management professionals and help desk staff operate.” This report, which compared nine of the top IT service management vendors worldwide, focuses on industry leaders and innovators in the enterprise service desk market. The Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscape report assists customers to find ITSM solutions that best serve their service management needs.
